The project consists of milling and resurfacing the Route 32 access ramp to Route 2 eastbound in Norwich and will require a temporary ramp closure. The milling portion of the project work is scheduled for Friday, June 17, 2022, with a rain date of Monday, June 20, 2022. The resurfacing portion of the project work is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, 2022, with a rain date of Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect a ramp closure to occur on the Route 32 access ramp to Route 2 eastbound in Norwich. Variable message boards will be set up approximately one (1) week prior to the work beginning. A temporary detour will be in place utilizing state roads only. Crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the detour. The ramp closure will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the operation.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
